When and how did you meet?
It was 2011. I added him one day on Facebook because we had a ton of mutual friends in college and I thought he was cute! We never officially “met” until one day he tapped me on the shoulder at a restaurant and said “Hey you’re my friend on Facebook!” I told him was short like me (which I liked), and he told me he respected my honesty, haha! We hung out a few times after that, and then he asked me to be his date for Valentine’s Day. He came over that night and made me AND my kitty a valentine’s dinner!

How long did you date before he popped the question?
3 ½ years.

How did he propose?

I am totally Disney obsessed, and I would talk to him about how I had always wanted to eat inside of Cinderella’s castle but had never gotten to. One day, he made the reservations for us to attend breakfast at Cinderella’s Castle. It was so beautiful and special. After we had finished breakfast, I asked if he was ready to leave, and he said “wait, we have a royal dessert coming too.” Just as he said that, our server came walking over to our table with a covered plate. When he pulled the cover off, there was a glass slipper, inscribed “Samuel and Stephanie 11.22.14 Dreams do come true” and it was surrounded by rose petals. He got on one knee, pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him! After I said yes, Princess Jasmine came over and hugged me! It was such a magical moment!

Where were you married and how did you pick the place?
We got married in Estero, FL. Our venue was at Grandezza Country Club. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was the right place for us. The staff was amazing, and the club was just so beautiful and elegant. It felt so right.

What theme and/or colors have you chosen for your wedding and why?

The theme was Cinderella. Cinderella has always been my favorite Disney princess, and since we got engaged at Cinderella’s Castle, we decided we wanted to make the theme for our wedding Cinderella too. So we chose Cinderella blue, white, and incorporated a lot of silver and golds.

Where did you go for your honeymoon?
We went to the Ashville/Brevard area of NC where we stayed in a cabin in the mountains. It was one week before Christmas, everything was so beautifully decorated, and the weather was amazing! One of the best weeks of our life!

Why did you chose Wonderland Bridal for your dream dress?
I was looking for my dream dress online, and found it. Stella York 5718. But I had a hard time finding a place that carried it. We called a few stores, and Wonderland Bridal was willing to bring it into the store for me to try on! The girls were so wonderful and kind. Always so willing to go above and beyond!

Share your experience about your time with Wonderland Bridal.
I remember trying on a few different dresses, and we saved the best for last. When Alicyn helped me put the dress on, she looked over at Patti and said “this is definitely the one.” Then I needed help finding jewelry that would match, and needed help finding my veil and Patti and Alicyn were there to help me every step of the way! With their help, I truly felt like real life Cinderella on my wedding day!

What was the best part of your wedding day?

This question is hard to answer, because I loved everything about our wedding day. It was truly the best day ever! But one of my fondest moments was the moment my father was walking me down the isle, and then I look up, and I see Sammy standing there waiting for me. It’s surreal and in that moment you’re looking into each other’s eyes, and you’re thinking “this is it, our happily ever after.”

Any advice to future couples currently planning a wedding?

Even if it may seem overwhelming and stressful at times, try to remember to still enjoy every minute of it. It goes by so fast. On your wedding day, soak it all in! It is truly going to be one of the best, most magical days of your lives!

Summer Wedding Trends & Tips from a Former Summer Bride

Summertime and the living is easy. Just kidding, that’s not always the case especially when planning a wedding, but we’re here to ensure you all remain up-to-date with the latest and greatest wedding trends each season.

This seasonal wedding trend post will be a little different than our others because we have somewhat of a summer wedding expert in the house. Lindsey Swing of LLScene ( got married in the Summer of 2014 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, with no shortage of humidity and blazing hot temperatures. She’s here to give her insight on summer wedding trends and personal advice on how to tackle those sweaty temperatures, while looking like the bride you have always envisioned yourself to be.

Your Summer Wedding Dress

It goes without saying that you will want a comfortably airy dress that is lightweight and flattering under heated conditions. Some wedding dresses tend to be heavy and embellished, so I would avoid those types of dresses all together. I’m lucky enough to visit Wonderland Bridal regularly, so I’m fully confident you will find just what you’re looking for at their bridal boutique. You will see some of my favorite recommendations below.

Open Back Dress

A trend that will never go out of style, and even more perfect for to let some air into your dress during your summer wedding.

Wonderland Bridal Stella York Gown

Plunging Necklines

This Sincerity Bridal dress has lace Illusion straps and plunging neckline in a lightweight delicate fabric for a hot summer day. It may look like a heavy dress, but it’s not! Achieve that ball gown look you have always dreamed of.

Crepe, Crepe and more Crepe!

This fabric is the end all be all to wedding gown elegance and comfort. But, what exactly is it?! Crepe is a light, soft, and thin fabric with a crinkled surface. Not only is this an up and coming wedding trend for all seasons, it’s the perfect material to capture unwanted sweat and moisture.

Jewelry Embellished Dresses

Two birds, one stone?! If you can look good doing it, then why not?! Implementing statement jewelry like diamonds and pearls as an attachment to your wedding dress is HUGE this year. Our Ashley & Justin dress does the work for you with this elegant open back embellished with pearls.

Light Weight Elegance

There’s nothing worse than having a heavy wedding dress, unless you have a heavy wedding dress in the summer heat. This is one of our favorite dresses to recommend to South Florida brides tying the knot in the summer.

Bridesmaid Dresses

The same applies for your bridesmaids. You all have a long day ahead of you,  which is very important to remember when picking your bridesmaid dresses. Wonderland Bridal’s Sorella Vita collection is PERFECT for your summer bridal party. Not only are the dresses beautiful, but they’re lightweight and flattering under any weather condition you may come upon. Bright hues are very popular for Summer 2017 bridesmaids.

Rather than going the “beach theme” route, embrace the “garden/boho theme” instead. This trend can be easily transitioned from spring to summer. Everyone remembers their summers as a kid, so get with your groom and implement some of your favorite summer memories into your summer wedding.

Chances are you will have a fabulous makeup artist that knows just what to use on your face to combat that “summer shine”. You want to glisten on your wedding day, not come off looking like a wet dog. Primer will be your best friend. Makeup primer is a base for foundation or face makeup that allows it to go on smoother and last longer. Formulas are available in cream, gel and powder. Before she does anything, your makeup artist will apply primer, so your makeup goes on smooth and remains consistent throughout the day.

Embrace the Backup Plan

I know this is tough to hear, but embrace it and make sure you love it. Most summer brides (including myself) decide to forgo an outside ceremony all together, but if you’re willing to take the chance you must be prepared to use your backup option. Not only is the rain unpredictable in the summer, the heat is just as bad. On my wedding day, we had planned for the cocktail hour to be outside until the temperatures reached to nearly 100 degrees that day. I was more than happy to move it inside.

Keep it Cool

Create a signature cocktail that will keep your guests hydrated and cool during cocktail hour. One of the latest and greatest wedding drink trends to look out for this summer has to be the Wine Smoothie! This frosted drink will be the talk of the town and show how much time and effort you put into the comfort of your guests. A wine smoothie consists of a fruity wine, like rose, blended with ice and fruits of your choice.

This one is for the Mothers of the Brides/Grooms!

Mother of the BrideGroom

It’s the week to celebrate MOMS! Believe it or not, we have a lot of questions and requests when it comes to the mothers of the brides and grooms in Wonderland. Many cultures have many different traditions and customs that should be recognized and celebrated on a wedding day, but sometimes it’s hard to lose sight of what it’s all about.

Untitled design (1)

This post is for you mothers of the brides and grooms because we’re celebrating YOU all week at Wonderland Bridal. This Friday, May 12th and Saturday, May 13th we are offering the sample sale of all sample sales with up to 75% off ALL of designer Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses!

Mothers Day Sample Sale (1)

Not only are we celebrating you all week long, we’re also here to offer a little advice and etiquette when it comes to what is expected of you during the wedding planning process.

What are the typical responsibilities of the Mother of the Bride?

Depending on how close the bride is with her mom, this is something that she will have to decide. Be there for your daughter every step of the wedding planning process, because she will need you. Most likely, you have seen her at her best but more importantly, her worst. Remind her of the bigger picture and become her support system through and through. There’s no one who knows the bride better than her mom.

What are the typical responsibilities of the Mother of the Groom?

Again, this is something we’d like to keep leave up to the bride, she runs the show. The bride will ultimately decide how involved she wants the groom’s family to be, but your main priority should be taking care of everyone on your side of the family. Make sure to communicate with family members about room blocks, dinners and responsibilities for the day of.

The Dresses

This is probably one of the most important rules, so listen closely! The mother of the bride always buys her dress FIRST, then notifies the mother of the groom about the color, length and overall formality of her choice.

For all the moms out there planning weddings, our hats go off to you. You tend to have the hardest job of them all. We celebrate you this Mother’s Day!

How to deal with a “Bossy Bridesmaid”

We’re back with another post dedicated to our bridesmaids. Or should we say, bossy bridesmaids. Yes you read that correctly. Believe it or not we come across some bossy bridesmaids from time to time. You may find yourself becoming a bossy bridesmaid without even realizing it, so today we’re clearing the air and giving our best advice on how to avoid becoming a bossy bridesmaid and how to deal with a bossy bridesmaid if you are the one getting married.

In our experience, we find bossy bridesmaids to be the women that make it all about themselves. They come in to shop for bridesmaids dresses filled with opinions and recommendations that go against everything the bride wants. Not only do they fight the bride on her recommendations, they go out of their way to negate everything she says. For example, the bride wants a classic look complete with a long chiffon finish, while her bridesmaid insists on a short dress that inappropriately shows off her cleavage.

Another sign of a bossy bridesmaid (or maid of honor) is when she starts bossing around the other bridesmaids by taking her role a little too seriously. It’s easy to get caught up in the planning that goes into being a successful bridesmaid, but treat everyone equally. You may think you know the bride best, but keep an open mind to what other bridesmaids have in mind when planning events like the bachelorette party and bridal shower.

So, what can you do if you find yourself relating to these “bossy bridesmaid” traits? We’re glad you asked!

  1. Have an open mind. Repeat, “this isn’t my day, this isn’t my day, this isn’t my day”. If you come into Wonderland to shop for bridesmaid dresses, keep an open mind. The colors and styles might not be something you would choose for yourself, but you may surprise yourself once the dress is off the rack and on your beautiful body!

2. Give constructive feedback. There’s a big difference between constructive feedback and harsh opinions. It’s all about the way you use your words, tone and delivery. Explain what you don’t love, you might either be able to find a way to fix the situation with alterations or helpfully guide the bride in a new direction.

3. Be upfront about money. There’s nothing wrong with having a budget. The bride will usually expect her bridesmaids to have a budget, so don’t hold back when it comes to stating that upfront. It’s better to be vocal about your financial situation at the beginning of the process, rather than hold back and build up a bitterness as the wedding day approaches.

You may be wondering, that’s all well and good, but how do I personally deal with a bossy bridesmaid? They’re supposed to be there for you as the best support system when dealing with the trials and tribulations of wedding planning, but sometimes they become the biggest headaches of them all.

Compromise. Sure it’s your wedding, but it’s their self-esteem and probably their cash too. Lucky for you, having different bridesmaid dresses is all the rage these days, so use that to your advantage. Give them all a certain style, color or fabric to choose from so you remain in control, but give them a little freedom as well.

If you find yourself still at a crossroads with some of your bridesmaids, sit them down and politely explain how you feel and what you’re going through. Make it less about your stress with her and more about your stress with the wedding planning all together. There’s only so many ways you can say, “this isn’t about you”, but sometimes you have to.

Love Story: Michelle & Neil

We sat down with another beautiful Wonderland bride to get her love story. Meet Michelle & Neil, who were married November 26, 2016.

When and how did you meet?

We met through mutual friends at a few gatherings in New York. One night one of our friends dared us to kiss, and we have been inseparable ever since!

How long did you date before he popped the question?

We officially dated for about 2 ½ years before he proposed!

How did he propose?

We both love to travel, so when Neil booked a weekend getaway to the Bahamas I didn’t think anything of it. Throughout the day Neil kept running off to the bathroom and told me that one of the crew members had yelled at him for running through the halls. He said he had complained to Guest Services and they were treating us to an exclusive diamond member welcome cocktail party on the top deck of the boat at sunset.

When we got there, there was absolutely no one there so I accused Neil of having the time and/or location wrong. As we were talking a photographer approached us and asked if we wanted to have our picture taken. We said yes and stood together for a nice photo. Neil paused for a moment to talk to me and before I had any idea what was going on, he was down on one knee with an absolutely amazing ring in his hand!

Where were you married and how did you pick the place?

We got married at the Village Club at Lake Success in New York. Neil actually found the venue on Instagram through someone he followed. I agreed to visit the place right before our flight back to Florida and from the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love! The entire flight home we were picking our menu, décor and everything in-between.

What theme and/or colors have you chosen for your wedding and why?

Our theme was Rustic Chic. Neil, being from South Florida has a bit of country in him, and me being from NYC loved the glitz and the glam. Our girls wore navy lace dresses to match my dress and all the guys matched them with navy ties and vests. Our flowers were rustic reds, yellows and oranges with thousands of tea lights on alternating tables, around the base of our flowers and throughout the entryway. Our head table had a beautiful blush sparkle tablecloth and our cake was covered in rainbow sprinkles. It was the perfect mix!

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

We spent 10 days on 3 different islands of Hawaii! It was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation and we can’t wait to go back!

Why did you chose Wonderland Bridal for your dream dress?

I had been to several bridal salons before and even after visiting Wonderland, but no one had the patience and knowledge like Alicyn and Patti.

Share your experience about your time with Wonderland Bridal.

Alicyn and Patti made me feel like a princess! They only take one bride at a time and focus all of their attention on you. The smallest little details, such as writing you a hello message, with your name, on their welcome board on the wall really made the difference to me. Alicyn picked dresses that were exactly like what I had asked to see and she never tried to force a new style on me. I originally went in looking for a dramatic backless dress, and walked out with a strapless gown that I never thought I would wear but Alicyn made me feel so confident in it!

What was the best part of your wedding day?

Oh my gosh, I don’t think I can pick any one moment! But, watching the double doors open at the church, feeling the attendant fluff my train, and locking eyes with my husband certainly was magical. Looking into his eyes, as I was probably crying myself, calmed me and made me realize what this day was all about. All the traveling and stress was worth it in that one moment.

Not to mention the fact that everyone looked strikingly beautiful, the church was beautifully decorated, the venue was stunning, the food was amazing, the flowers were breathtaking and the DJ was energetic and allowed us to have the time of our lives. I wouldn’t change a single second of it!

Any advice to future couples currently planning a wedding?

Breathe! I put a lot of pressure on myself to make sure everything was perfect. A lot of people won’t remember the little details as much as they remember how happy you were on your special day. I had so many family members and friends come up to us that night and simply say how happy we looked throughout the day. Remember that the day is about you and your soon to be husband or wife and everything else is an added bonus!

Love Story: Melissa & Mike

We sat down with another beautiful Wonderland bride to get her love story. Meet Melissa & Mike, who were married November 19, 2016.

When and how did you meet?

Mike and I met while we were both living in Orlando attending UCF. He was working on his masters in Graphic Arts and I was working on my Bachelors in Nursing. We met at the Library….the Knight Library, that is, which was a college bar off campus! A group of my friends hit it off with a group of his friends while we were there. We all became friends and Mike and I started dating about 6 months later.

How long did you date before he popped the question?

We dated for 5.5 years before getting engaged!

How did he propose?

Mike proposed on the river in downtown Fort Lauderdale. We were there for what I thought was my soon-to-be brother-in-law’s birthday dinner! We chose to eat outside because we had brought our dog, Belle. My family was running late, which was no big surprise since they were coming down from Boca, so Mike and I got a table on the river and sat by ourselves to wait. I knew he had been working on something to hold all of my headbands for me (I have an obscene collection that was overflowing their current bin). He asked if I wanted to see it while we waited, and I said sure. He walked to the car & came back holding a huge bag, I was confused when he pulled out an elaborate hand crafted wooden cabinet with a “M” for Melissa on the front. I had only asked for a piece of wood with nails on it to hang my headbands! When I opened it, he had set up all of my headbands inside and there were pictures of us all throughout. I was so impressed and shocked he went so out of the way! When I asked him why he went so over the top he just kept asking me if I liked it. I said “of course I do”! And then he asked me if I liked “all of it”, confused and thinking he was pulling some sort of a prank on me, I looked back inside until I saw the ring box in the corner. When I turned around and looked back at him, he was somehow on his knee with a ring in his hand. I basically blacked out at that point and forgot everything he said to me, I’m pretty sure he had to prompt me to answer! The feeling of surprise and excitement when he proposed is something I will never forget! Our families all later joined us for dinner, his sister even flew in from NY. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more “perfect and perfectly us” proposal. (I have attached a couple of photos from the engagement as well)

Where were you married and how did you pick the place?

Our marriage and ceremony took place at our church, St. John the Evangelist. That decision was easy, but finding a venue for our reception was the tricky part! We did our due diligence on researching wedding venues and toured about 4 before visiting Parkland Golf and Country Club! As soon as we pulled up we knew it was the place for us! It’s just so beautiful and private. It’s Tuscan style architecture isn’t something easily found in South Florida and it was everything we were looking for.

What theme and/or colors have you chosen for your wedding and why?

We stuck with a pretty traditional/classic theme. Our colors were different shades of purple and gray/silver.

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

We actually haven’t gone yet! We are going on a 13 day Alaskan Cruise & Land Tour. We had to wait since “season” for an Alaskan cruise is in the summer. It was sort of nice to have this to look forward to after all of the excitement of the wedding. We leave May 28th and we are so excited! We wanted to do something a little different from the typical “Caribbean Style” honeymoon…I think we accomplished that with Alaska.

Why did you chose Wonderland Bridal for your dream dress?

I actually found Wonderland Bridal on Yelp! I had been to a few dress stores already and just didn’t feel like I had found “the one”. From the second I walked into Wonderland, I had an experience unmatched by all of the other bridal boutiques and I truly couldn’t be happier that I found my dream dress there!

Share your experience about your time with Wonderland Bridal.

Wonderland Bridal is like no other bridal store around! It was probably one of the most enjoyable aspects of planning our wedding! The experience brides get there is so personal and genuine. Alicyn & Patty make you feel just at home! While you are in their boutique, you are the most important thing to them- they only ever see one bride at a time! I didn’t feel that special anywhere else! They have a “no pressure” sales approach, which was very refreshing, and they were so fun and sweet! I absolutely loved every second of working with them and couldn’t be happier that I found them.

What was the best part of your wedding day?

The whole day was so wonderful and filled with so much love that it’s hard to think of just one best part, but I’d say the best feeling was finally taking Mike’s hand after walking down the aisle. We hadn’t seen each other or talked since our rehearsal dinner, the night before, and after all of the suspense of preparing for that very moment everything just fell into place once we were together at the alter.

Any advice to future couples currently planning a wedding?

Try to remain as stress free as possible! That was important to us and I’m grateful that we didn’t let the planning over-shadow the most important part of our wedding- us vowing to love one another forever and joining our hands and hearts in marriage in front of all of our loved ones! It’s so easy to get caught up in all of the planning and little details and overlook the real reason for your wedding. It’s only as stressful as you make it! You will come across bumps or hiccups in your planning, as did I, but try remember that at the end of the day, you will be marrying the love of your life and everything will be perfect regardless of all of the little details!

Happy One Year Anniversary!

The best day of my life happened on December 19, 2015.  On this day I married the love of my life and felt like a true reigning Queen! Upon undertaking one of the most stressful planning processes ever, it was made truly memorable and less stressful by Patti at Wonderland Bridal! Not only did she know my exact taste & style to make my dreams come to fruition as I started this journey, as one of my dearest and best friends, she was present on my special day to help me in any and all aspects of my day! Patti is honestly one of a kind!!

Through every fitting I had and all the silly “bridal questions” she and Alicyn were patient, kind, more than helpful and present in the moment.  They took great care of me and my sister, who was my Maid of Honor, and made us feel understood, special at every turn and like the true glamor girls we are.

If you are looking for exceptional experience, professionalism and peaceful, luxurious atmosphere … Look no further and run, not walk, to Wonderland Bridal … It is truly a “wonderland”!!

Many many thanks, appreciation and lots and lots of love!

Love Story: Lilian & Alejandro

We sat down with another beautiful Wonderland bride to get her love story. Meet Lilian & Alejandro, who were married November 19, 2016.

When and how did you meet?

Someone once asked me; did you really find your soul mate when you were 15 years old? I smiled and said, “Yes, I did, I just didn’t know it then”. Alex and I met just about fifteen years ago in school through a mutual friend early in the morning before class. Little did I know that it would turn to this “Fairy Tale” and that, that day outside of school was the first day of the rest of my life with my best friend, and future husband. We remained good friends throughout all of our High School years and it wasn’t until two years after graduation that we began our relationship as a couple. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months and the months turned into years we are now known as The Barrios.

How long did you date before he popped the question?

Year 7, the big question lol! Mr. Barrios and I dated for 7 years before the official “popped the question” that night.

How did he propose?

It was my 27th birthday and Alex surprised me with a birthday dinner with close friends and our families. Little did I know that my birthday gift that year was a little black box with a lot of sparkle inside. We had a long dinner full of laughter and jokes. Towards the end of the night he surprised me with a delicious sweet treat and after singing the traditional birthday jingles he handed me a suspicious little black box. And there is was, a beautiful emerald cut engagement ring, staring at me. I was overcome by joy and happiness. There were tears of joy, happiness and lots of laughter. And there on my 27th birthday dinner I became Fiancé to Mr. Barrios.

Where were you married and how did you pick the place?

I came across The Addison while browsing through Pinterest. From the moment, we stepped onto The Addison we knew it would be the one. All who know me closely know that I have a slight obsession for timeless, vintage and historical things. The beautiful timeless venue located in Boca Raton offers a magical courtyard featuring beautiful Banyan trees, my personal favorites. The Addison offers many unique features, from its historic architecture and world-class cuisine to a courtyard featuring 100-year-old Banyan Trees and a cascading fountain that is simply breathtaking. Originally built in 1926 by acclaimed architect, Addison Mizner, the Addison is steeped in Old World elegance and charm. To say the least we were in absolute awe of the Venue and the outstanding customer service of their planning team, we booked our November wedding 🙂 the same day we visited and the planning began!

What theme and/or colors have you chosen for your wedding and why?

I had a Vintage theme for our wedding and the colors were, champagne, ivory, gold and a lite hint of peach. I wanted a soft, chic, timeless look for our wedding day. I’m a longtime lover of all vintage delicate things, from the music, to the décor and the glam, I love it all. And I must say that Daniel Event’s did a magnificent job on bringing my vision to life, from the flowers to the décor. Not to mention that the music selection by Julie at Master Musicians set in the tune for the day with their beautiful melodies.

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

Due to my husband’s busy schedule and the Winter season we opted for a mini honeymoon to the beautiful warm island of Jamaica which it was so relaxing! (exactly what I need it after the wedding) and we are taking our 3-week honeymoon this upcoming Summer to the enchanted land of Greece!

Why did you choose Wonderland Bridal for your dream dress?

I can’t say stress enough how AMAZING Alicyn and Patti were! Since the moment that you walk into Wonderland Bridal you feel like you are at home, and I know that might sound cheesy but they truly have a way with their Brides. I came to Alicyn with an inspiration picture of the dress that I wanted and rite away she knew what I was looking for. She saved my dress to try on last and told me “the last dress I’m going to have you try on will be your wedding dress” and true enough that was the one for me! LOL! What can I say she is a total Guru! LOL!

Share your experience about your time with Wonderland Bridal.

I wish I could have a wedding every year, just to go dress shopping at Wonderland Bridal LOL! Dress shopping can be overwhelming and there are so many options that is a challenge for sure, especially with the wide selection that Wonderland Bridal offers! I think that Allison’s extended experience and genuine commitment to help the brides makes all the difference on the Wonderland Bridal shopping experience! She was beyond helpful, accommodating, great listener, detail oriented and among all kind and friendly. By the end of our session we were friends lol! One of my favorite things from the experience was that you have privacy to shop, a personal wedding dress consultant assisting you always, and your appointment is not rushed. You also have the luxury of having the store to yourself for the entire time your appointment is scheduled. Doesn’t get better than that!

What was the best part of your wedding day?

That’s a very difficult question to answer, I loved everything about my wedding day but besides the fact that I married the love of my life I must say the moment that I walked down the aisle and my husband and I saw each other. It sounds cliché but time does stop at that moment and it does feel like there is no one else with you at that moment, other than you and him.

Any advice to future couples currently planning a wedding?

Support each other, communicate, have fun with the planning, don’t make it a job, BRIDES: don’t forget about your groom, is his day too! Make him part of the planning, ask for his input. My husband was such great support throughout the planning and he was very much involved in everything. He has a very tight schedule and we had to accommodate all appointments around his schedule and at times it was a bit of a challenge, but we made it work. I wanted him to feel comfortable and part of the wedding planning. We went to all appointments together, except for dress shopping obviously, LOL! We did everything from, cake tasting to flower picking together. And it bonded us more and we had an absolute blast doing it together! Give yourself time to do everything, don’t leave things for last minute it creates unnecessary stress. Lastly book your self’s a spa day the day before the wedding and relax!!!! You will need it! Enjoy the ride, it goes by faster than you think. Happy planning future brides, and best of luck.
